Personality and Bio
General Personality
Josh is a very quiet person. Extremely quiet. This is mostly due to having an older sister who always said things for him. He looks up to his sister very much, which could be part of the reason he ended up bi, or defending women's rights. However, because of this, he knows the bad sides of the female race as well as the good. He doesn't casual date, not wanting to get caught up in the game.
He doesn't try for relationships in Mississippi. He wants to be out of there anyway, so it'd just be easier to not worry about it. He, unlike most males, doesn't simply date to have sex. He wants strong friendship and understanding of his beliefs which just isn't going to happen there.
He doesn't smoke or dip which is rather odd for someone in Mississippi and only drinks perhaps once every two to three months. He doesn't party like those around him, paranoid of all the things he's already seen associated with it. He is a nice guy. Sometimes a little too nice. He has a very odd sense of humor, which shines through in a lot of his RP. He is very stable in crisis and is the one most turn to for moral support. He is very responsible, often fixing other people's screw-ups.
However, as a side-effect of his stability, he is rather reclusive and quiet. He considers his common and book sense to be above average (at least by Mississippi standards), but has trouble with mechanics and blue collar things. He has seen racial, and homosexual prejudice and refused to take part in things of the sort, and even knowing a few members of the KKK.
Bio
He was raised in a town that was Christian and mostly self-segregated and went to a white private school. He never really fit in, and later started thinking. He eventually became Agnostic and Bisexual realizing that things can't really be black and white. There is gray, and there is balance. He decided to become as nondiscriminatory as possible, but silent about it, being the quiet person he is.
The one thing that intrigued him more than anything was the internet, Japan, and anime. This love of all things Otaku made him different than most around him, which he takes great pride in, basking in his individuality. Even if it is masked behind a quiet conformity.
He is more or less stuck in Mississippi for the next two years, due to his father's death in May of 2006 and grandfather's death in July of 2006, trying to help out his mother and sister.
Shoujo-Ai MUSH
He, well, let's face it. He's a pervert. He was browsing the S-A forum for yuri and came upon the MUSH. He had been RPing for about three years prior, so combining the two was seemingly paradise. He arrived with his first character on May 13th, 2005. Since then, he's met quite a few wonderful people, both ICly and OOCly.
Main Characters
- Zana - Main character, humorous and shameless persona, never expressed in the real world, aside from jokes. He is a shy, quiet person in reality, but is very open and expressive on the internet. This is a reflection of his internet personality.
- Pink - His perverted and affectionate side. That's all there is to it. Apparently, he does express this when he's drunk.
- Ambrosia - Secondary character, pure, innocent, and quiet. She is himself within the game. Of course, certain changes had to be made physically, but in personality, she is very close to how he reacts in reality. If in the same situations in reality, he would act that exact way.
Fourth Characters
He's a fanboi. He just has to have at least one character from a series (Or two because of Pink). He's only gone through a few, most of them not doing very well, hence why they leave:
- Miroku, Kenshin/Jam (Not the current ones), Shinji, Shugo.
- Scarlet - This is his current fourth. Basically it is Pearl Prynne, the daughter of the main character of The Scarlet Letter. In the book, she's mentioned as being full of passion, which he figured would be fun to play. He basically adds certain elements to the character of course that make her playable in Yuriba, but the backstory is still basically the same. So, yea. Making fun of religion is sort of fun. It was also rather fun to type in Old English.
