After her restaurant was destroyed by Robo-Ky, martial artist, ki-force master, and chef Jam Kuradoberi heard of the island of Yuriba and decided to come here to start her new restaurant, thinking it a safer place for her precious business. When she arrived, she was surprised to find a few acquaintances here, especially her rival for Ky Kiske's affection, Kitsoru. She was even more surprised when Ky showed up. After the opening of her restaurant, former owner of the Crescent Moon Farah Al-Khaid closed down her restaurant, and since has harbored a hatred of Jam. Jam felt so badly about this incident that she has decided to try as hard as she could to encourage Farah to reopen her restaurant. At the opening of the New Moon Eatery, Jam hopes to repair her friendship with Farah. Jam was briefly engaged to Zana Utumuuan but Zana broke it off due to emotional issues stemming from the return of her ex-wife.
Although she usually means well, her voice is often the turn off for those meeting her - its grating, high-pitched sound can crumble even the greatest warrior.
Her new restaurant, Hou Long Xing, is now up and running in the Business District of Yuriba.
