New Moon Eatery

The New Moon Eatery is a restaurant in Yuriba, serving a wide variety of Chinese cuisine. It is the successor to the Crescent Moon Eatery, the first Chinese restaurant in Yuriba.

The restaurant is located two blocks south of the Village Center, on the west side of White Lily Road and across from the Yuriba Free Library. In front of the restaurant is an elegant ornamental garden, providing a scenic view for diners and strollers alike.

The restaurant was established in the Fall of 2006 by Farah Al-Khaid, and is operated by Jiang Mei Zhen who acts as general manager and server along with an unknown partner in the kitchen. The establishment went into a brief stewardship under the Town Council due to the long absence of its founder. As of Summer 2008 however, the restaurant's ownership was transferred into the hands of Miyako Tanaka and Shay Black.

The New Moon Eatery prides itself for its serving diversity, its large menu and wide variety of dishes appealing to many tastes. Takeout service is also offered, allowing visitors to partake of their meal wherever they please.

A small apartment above the restaurant formerly provided a home for Farah and her fiancée, Meyumi O'Brennan, but the two have long since departed Yuriba.
