Hunter

Hunter as she calls herself, or Aran, is relatively new to the island. There are some things about her that anyone who bothers to ask will learn with relative ease. She claims to be a space-faring bounty hunter from a world known as Zebes. Her ship came down in the mountains to the north of the village when its systems were fried by an electromagnetic wave caused by solar flares. The ship was heavily damaged, but Hunter was saved by her powered armor, which itself was all but destroyed. She claims that it will still be some months before the ship's self-repair system gets it space-worthy once more.

Others that wish to spend more time talking to her may learn of her history in the military, the fate of her home and family, and perhaps her upbringing by a race far different from humans. Though some subjects she is not exactly forthcoming about. A select few may know more about her, however, than she is willing to speak of herself. Those few recognize her as who she really is.

Since her arrival in Yuriba she has undergone a few changes, the most notable of which being her becoming a werewolf. Also, Hunter seems to have found a place among the patrons at Leona's Bar and Girl, owned and run by Leona McAllistre. Much of her time is spent there, simply observing people, and speaking to those that approach her or catch her attention. But recently her place in the bar has changed somewhat. No longer just another customer, Leona has hired Hunter to be the bouncer.

Only recently has Hunter finally opened up enough to enter a romantic involvement, and her choice of partner may seem a little odd to some. Her companion in what may well be the first serious relationship of her life is none other than the same Eve Stratafyre that she was so determined to shake off.
