Appearance
Description
Solan is a shadow that can morph into any feasible shape though this talent is limited to the Shadow Realm. When traveling outside of the dark land, Solan forms a shifting mass of shadows drawing together to form a vaguely humanoid shape. It's very rare for someone other than the people listed below to come into contact with Solan and probably for the best that it remains so.
Personality
Solan is not quite the polar opposite to Sabriel Peregrine but is definitely not cut from the same cloth as the wanderer. She is geared more towards chaos and enjoys tempting people into erratic behavior that is uncharacteristic for themselves.
Cocky and confident in her ways, Solan took a shift for the worse after Sachi spiritually altered the wanderer's shadow essence and more closely resembles Aze's dark personality. What other changes to come are unforeseen.
Biography
First Existance
Solan was first introduced to Yuriban soil when Sabriel disappeared with Aze into the Shadow Realm. Her alter ego was unable to hold form within the pervasive darkness of the world below and thus was Sabriel's spirit transformed into the shadow known as Solan. Caden Smith traveled to the realm of the shadow and merged her friend's spirit back with her body. Sabriel's heart began to beat once more the moment the shadow returned to it's rightful place and remained there until called upon once more.
Second Existance
The second time Solan was welcomed to Yuriban soil it was with a deep hatred burning in her heart due to Sachi's own spiritual manipulation of the wanderer. This was the first time the shadow had managed to overtake Sabriel's physical form and integrate it completely with the shadows. She has shifted into a chaotically geared shadow much like Azeban but with actual charm and a human form. What is to come from this event is yet unknown.

Friend & Foe
There are people who Solan considers either ally or enemy. The lines blur on who is what.
- Azeban - The trickster elemental who has shifted into a more deadly form. She is currently trapped within the Shadow Realm.
- Caden Smith - Fiesty Cajun backpacker who is Sabriel's close friend. She doesn't know what to make of Solan yet and reluctantly stands by the shadow.
- Sinice - A drow that follows the worship of Inishie. She had a hand in breaking Azeban's collar quite accidently.
- Sachi - Traveling swordswoman who seeks Azeban for a greater power. Sabriel came to blows with Sachi at the Isolated Shrine and due to some spiritual manipulation cast by Sachi, Solan was born.
- Zelda - Princess of the Lands of Hyrule. An innocent passeryby caught up in the rather catastrophic fight between Sabriel/Solan and Sachi. She was unable to stop Solan from coming into existance.
Family
Solan has no family, adopted or blood, living upon Yuriba soil. Her ties lie in the Shadow Realm which remains hidden away somewhere in the pine forests of the Faerie Circles.
Romantic Interests
These are all people Solan has expressed a rather enigmatic interest in. It's hard to say whether or not the shadow really considers it a romantic interest.
- Caden Smith - One of Sabriel's closest confidants and traveling companions. Solan has an odd fixation with the woman. This might be because of her alter ego's bond with the woman.
