Notes:	If you see me around Yuriba and I'm idle I'm really not. If I'm not struck with the interest to wander about town I'll just sit but that doesn't mean I don't want to talk to people, so feel free to bug me if you have an interest in meeting or talking to me.

Ryo-chan is a fairly typical cat-girl in appearance. The only thing that really stands out is that her fur and hair are bright red with Tabbie like markings. She's been a Yuriba resident since April of 2005.

History: Part 1 - The Cat and the Wizard

Ryo wasn't always the girl she is now. When she was first born she was actually a normal house cat. She lived with a wizard, catching mice and generally making sure his home stayed rodent free, in return she would get food, attention, and pretty much anything else a cat would want. One day this wizard decided it wasn't really a cat he wanted after all, it was a girl. A girl who could be his wife and a companion. Well instead of what might have been the easy thing and heading out to find a nice girl in the nearby village, he decided to try and turn his cat into a woman. The spell didn't go exactly as he wanted however. Ryo did change into a human, but she was still a young girl, and the ears and tail stayed. This sudden change scared her however and she fled much to the wizard's dismay. Given that she still had a few cat like abilities despite the human body, she managed to get food for a bit, but the extra energy needed to maintain the body eventually caught up with her and she passed out. She was found by a child from the nearby village who told his parents and she was saved.

History: Part 2 - Growing up in a New World

She stayed with the family who saved her for several years, learning how to speak proper Japanese as well as all the little things she missed in the first years where she was a cat. She aged steadily, her life span increased to that of a human from the spell and was now fourteen years old and quite happy where she was. The tavern keeper had taken a liking to her and gave her a glass of milk when she came to visit, proving to be one of the people that would stand most prominently in her memory. This peace wasn't to last however, while peace reigned in most areas of the world, her little corner of Japan was still plagued with bandits and they just happened to choose her town as their next target. The towns people put up a good fight, and it was because of this why they decided to not just take what they wanted, but burn the town to the ground as well. Well in the midst of all the flames Ryo tried to flee, panicked by the sudden appearance by the bandits, but they weren't about to leave any survivors to report them. So one of them chased after the poor panicked little girl, slicing at her unprotected back with his sword. The poor kitten goes down, blood leaking from the large wound. The last thing she sees before passing out is a warrior coming seemingly from nowhere and taking out the bandit before it can deal the killing blow.

History: Part 3 - A New Island Home

She woke a while later, in pain but still alive. She was in a tent, clothes washed and mended near her side. There wasn't anyone in the tent, but the nagging fear that the bandits would return forced her up and gone despite the pain without even knowing who saved her. She drifted around for the next three years, staying in places for a few days but not generally staying in one place for fear that it would be attacked like her last home. Eventually in her wandering she stepped through a seam in space or some other magical something she didn't know about and found her way to Yuriba. She decided it was time to stop running and try to settle down again, and this seemed like as good of a place as any to try and start a new life.

New Friends and New Problems

Ryo had finally gotten a home, somewhere she could feel like she belonged. She found friends in the form of Zana, Kitu, and Millenia and was happy for a while, even starting to develop a sort of casual romance with Millenia. Sadly that wasn't possible, and after a little over a year of getting to know her friends, Millenia vanished. No note, no mention of her leaving, no nothing. She was just gone.

The Breakdown

Ryo took Millenia's leaving very hard, and even locked herself away from the world for a time. But thanks to her ever caring friends of Kitu and Zana, she eventually came back and started to be part of the world again, though still in a limited capacity. Over the course of a couple years she would come and go at random, visiting friends when she was there, but not being there as much as she should have.

Reuniting With the Family

After a while of this she did return however, and just in time for the wedding of her dearest friend Kitu to her best friend Lizz. Life had pretty much returned to normal at that point, and with the birth of Lizz and Kitu's pups, Ryo got to play babysitter auntie to give her two friends a break from time to time, much to her enjoyment.

A Continuing Story

After a time Ryo left the island. She needed to get out and see the world. The Island, much as she liked it, just didn't suit her anymore, and she needed to find somewhere new to settle for a time. Her journey off the island took her to many different places where she met many different people and saw many different things. Three years she was gone from the island before finally making her return, older and wiser now, and not the innocent little girl she was before. Much as she grew tired of it before, while traveling she realized that the island was more of a home to her than anywhere had been before. Armed with this new found knowledge she traveled back to Yuriba, ready now to take her place as a valued member of the village.

My Family

Lizz Inari

Ryo looks up to Lizz and even came up with the nickname Okami-chan for her. When they first met she wasn't sure about Lizz, at that time she pretty much only had her Oneechan left and was sure that she was going to steal her away, but after talking to her she became just as close as her Oneechan. After her and Kitsune got married the only regrets Ryo had was that she wasn't able to attend the wedding and feeling guilty about that made them both kimonos.

Kitsune Inari

One of the first people Ryo met on the island. She's a large reason why Ryo is the person she is now, and also the person the little kitten is most attached to out of everyone she's met. When Ryo met her she was a little wild, but Kitsune befriended her and calmed her. Ryo asked her if she would be willing to be her big sister a few weeks after they met, Kitsune agreed and now this little cat calls her Oneechan because of this.

Hinome

One of Lizz and Kitsune's pups. This little one tends to look more like Lizz then Kitsune, not having a muzzle or other kitsune like features besides fur. Hinome is loved by Ryo as she's the child of the two most important people in her life.

Hoshikage

The second of two pups that Kitsune and Lizz have. This child takes more after Kitsune than Lizz, having a muzzle and slightly more kitsune like features. Ryo loves this child for the obvious reasons of being the child of her two favorite people.

Zana Utumuuan

Ryo met Zana just a little bit before her eighteenth birthday, they became fast friends but because of everything that happened with Millenia they fell out a little bit. But despite that Ryo still considers her a sister and one of her best friends.

Millenia

The first person on the island that Ryo truly loved. Despite this Ryo never got to enjoy the time spent with her for one reason or another. Ryo still loves Millenia, but since she left the island in the summer of 06 or so that's not going to happen.
