Iui Fusion

Iui Fusion is a wolfgirl who runs the General Store in partnership with Gadget.

Appearance

Aside from the fact that she stands on two feet and has hands and feet instead of paws, Iui is not much different from a normal wolf. Covered in a rich dark bluish-grey fur, she stands approximately 6' (5'8" if you don't count the ears). Iui does have hair on her head; it is cyan and she keeps it short depending on the season. She has a lush, three foot long tail that has a white, silvery tip. The front portion of her neck, down across her chest, stomach and ending between her legs is covered in the same white, silvery fur as the tip of her tail.

She generally wears whatever is most comfortable. Rarely does she ever wear dress clothes. During the winter you can catch her in long pants and a hooded sweatshirt of some sort. During summer she dons short pants (not shorts) and a t-shirt that always has an interesting picture or saying on it. This wolf doesn't wear shoes; her feet are too big and she has dark claws on the end of her toes-same goes for the ends of her fingers.

She really likes watches and you'll always see her with one.

Short Biography

Iui had a rather normal, though unhappy life before coming to Yuriba. To her ex mother and father (she will never acknowledge them as her parents anymore) she was named upon birth 'Michelle' and given the nickname Micky. She had a brother and sister as well, but she also does not think of them as family anymore either. Micky was often abused by her family as she was the youngest and smallest; basically an easy target for her siblings and father. Being an obedient child, she simply took the abuse because she thought that's how family was. Her mother never participated but often forced Micky into strenuous labors such as cooking, cleaning, and essentially being a slave to everyone else.

Years of this made her bitter and angry. She would still be obedient at home, but at school she would snap at people who got too close. Even after graduating high school and moving out, the girl still found herself tethered too much to her family. After one bad visit home she drove to a nearby forest in her home in Michigan and ditched the car and began to run. She ran so far and so long that she failed to notice she wasn't in Michigan anymore, but in Yuriba. It took her a few weeks before she realized she needn't ever go back home again. She changed her name and made friends with a mouse by the name of Gadget.

After building a house and opening the General Store with Gadget (who is just a roommate and friend, nothing more), she happened across a cursed pool that turned her into the wolf she now is. It's taken some time but she is slowly beginning to come out of her shell, realizing that there was so much more to life she never experienced. And being a wolf really helps her self esteem as she is no longer small and frail, but large and strong. She had a relationship with a catgirl by the name of Soraya for a while, but the two broke it off and she is now very much in love with a beautiful woman by the name of Kaoru.

Life in Yuriba

Iui generally spends most of her time at home where she cooks, reads manga, and watches television. She really likes to cook for people, especially her roommate Gadget who seems to have a bad habit of forgetting to eat (and now Moss, who is Gadget's adopted daughter). If she's not home, there are many places she likes to wander to. Lately she's been drowning her sorrows of not being able to see her girlfriend, Kaoru, at Leona's Bar and Girl. When Kaoru is available the two are glued at the hip. They enjoy eating at the Crimson Rose and Sword.

She's quiet when she first meets someone. Always a bit of her past eating away at her she's never quite sure how people are going to treat her. Though she is always friendly with a fellow wolf and those she's gotten to know in the past several months she's lived on the island.

It is most important to note that Iui's bark is fiercer than her bite. But she rarely ever angers as she sees herself as more of the threat than the person doing the threatening.

Iui Fusion is a formidable friend to have by your side, assuming you can break past her shell like only a few have done.
