Category talk:Notable places

I'm really pondering the merit of a subcategory for this, 'Other places' or something like that for portaled businesses. It's really not right to count them as 'notable', but there's no reason _not_ to let people write wiki pages on them. Thoughts? --breisleach 09:45, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

• Sounds like the best answer, though that's hard to say at the same time. Because portaled areas are not necessarially on theme, so either the subcategory would have to prepend all of the articles with the "off theme", or simply state in the category that all things contained within aren't on theme. But, not all portaled places are off-theme, so, it's a very tricky position to take. Beause you wouldn't want someone reading an article about the "Great Space Ship Yamato that hovers over Yuriba with its portal beacon in the woods" or whatever, just because that's someone's house, and thinking it's right.
