Category talk:Druidic
How is druidic magic -different- from divine magic? That is, what makes it not an obvious subset of divine magic?
Also, why is this a category? --Sparta (talk) 04:34, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Differences primarily biased in exact source of power - Divine is all from deity, druidic is also drawing from environment. Definite differences in ethical style/philosophy behind the two.
- As for category, um... It was late at night, and I knew 'Arcane' and 'Elementalism' would get subcategories based on further styles (Fire Magic, Ice Magic, etc.), and in a fit of sleep-biased non-brillance, I made all the different styles categories.

- I doubt the other magics will be subcategories; they can just reference the page. Categories should (by Wikipedia standard) be mostly just lists, while an article should be separate but by essentially the same name. E.g., Category:Trees vs. the article Tree.
- Yeah, so I discovered. Thusly, I'm prone right now to making things categories until I'm sure they shouldn't be, but. >.>; I'm still new-ish at this.
