A gentle old soul Bluebell is the High Priestess of Harumeku and a native of Yuriba. She is a Naiad but when pressed no one knowing her can admit to see her not wearing a blessing.

Forms and Physical Description

Bluebell has been known to take many forms over her life, mainly that of cat, wolf and most recently rabbit. While born a naiad with blue skin and white hair, in her blessed form she has much more pale skin and bright copper hair. She is a rather large woman, tall and well built, perfect for squeezing. She always seems to give off a sense of deep tranquility and matronly love, be it from her kind smile to her gentle voice. For some reason she seems to always speak with a thick Scottish accent, stories as to where she picked that up vary, but she is known to speak without it when times get serious.

Personality

Bluebell very much lives up to what one might expect from a High Priestess of Yuriba's most motherly goddess: almost supernaturally patient and kind, she flows with an unrivaled since of tranquility and warmth. While appearing to be around middle aged speaking to her reveals a much older wisdom and almost tiredness. She is extremely slow to anger, and even slower to let any emotions other than simple joy show. That is with the exception of when she is playing Croquet (Which she is said to have brought to Yuriba) Where a rather nasty competitive streak can be quickly observed by anyone in her path.

History

Bluebell's history is kept private. She is long lived, and the few things that are known about her include before she joined Harumeku's temple she wore Engetsu and Zansho's blessings, she has been a healer most of her life of some sort (The exact nature is often in question and might be the one thing that gets the old rabbit to blush), she has had several small stents off Yuriba, and her family is quite simply the largest in all of Underhill.

Sometime in the late 1890s, after a personal loss, she took a position at Harumeku's temple as a maiden, and in 2007 with the death of the former High Priestess, Inkblot, she took over those duties. This came as a shock to her, but to this day she serves her duties, and happily leads her temple.

In late 2017 Bluebell began to take trips to Overhill and in the summer of 2019 she met and eventually adopted the Sentry of Zokutou, Ella as her daughter.

Abilities

Like most priestesses Bluebell has many powers, she is an expect at sensing life, especially pre natal life, she can communicate with animals and plants, and as a naiad she can control and manipulate water. Later in life she developed some ablates to see the future. She is also known to not shy away from more taboo magic.[
