Description
Zheng is a rather short looking Asian butterfly girl! She's about 5 foot 2 inches tall and almost always smiling, dressed right now in a soft, nearly sheer white robe that flows down just above her knees, swishing with every happy little step she makes. The robe is only held on be a cute little golden brooch that's fastened right above her right breast, with a shining red ruby in the center of it shaped like her favorite shape, a heart! It's also got quite a low back, the cloth being nonexistent there until right above her bottom, making room for her wings to flap and move without getting in the way. The butterfly girl is 18 years old and rather thin, but by no means unhealthily so, belly and legs somewhat toned from all the wandering she tends to do around the island.
Zheng's most notable feature, and the one she's most proud of, are the two big butterfly wings that sprout off her back from right under the shoulder blades! They're just like a monarch butterfly's wings, expect bigger, 'course! All orange and black, with a few white dots all around the wing's edge. They're not at all delicate as they might seem, too, so she doesn't mind at all if others wish to touch and pet them! Just not too hard, since they are quite, quite sensitive!
Background
Zheng grew up in Northeast China for most of her younger days, living with a fishing family in the coastal town of Yingkou, doing all the normal things a girl her age would, having quite the happy little life despite not having the most money in the world. After watching her father go out on his boat every day to fish, the girl's curiosity and sense of adventure got the better of her and she pestered him until he let her come along one day. Unfortunately, that proved to be one of the stormiest days that year and in the chaos of it all she got knocked overboard by a wave, washing up on the shores of Yuriba a few hours later, a little dazed but none the worse for wear.
Personality
Zheng's quite the chipper little butterfly girl, finding joy and cuteness in even the ugliest of people or the most mundane of things. Her mannerisms and actions tend to reflect that, too, wings often fluttering happily as she skips and prances around. That said, her moods can swing quite fast from one end of the spectrum to another, going from happy to a little sad and back again nearly minute by minute, though things almost always stay on the happy side of things for her.
