Wild Hare Inn
The Wild Hare Inn is a traditional Japanese style ryokan three blocks south of the Village Center on White Lily Road. Originally built by a woman named Flash, the Wild Hare had a single guest room and an outdoor hot spring for visitors, although behavioral expectations were strongly enforced. The Wild Hare also boasts an extensive sushi menu, as well as a special Seasonal Menu that highlights traditional Japanese fare during each season, as well as other oddities that rotate in and out as they are discovered stashed away in the Inn's storerooms. The waitress Sae has worked there since the restaurant opened. Among other delicacies, the Wild Hare serves locally distilled wines and alcohols, some provided by Allya.
The ryokan was damaged in the volcanic eruption in 2007, after which it was closed down for repairs, then re-opened shortly. Unusually, the Inn itself did not receive much in the way of damage, save a single chunk of volcanic rock that landed in the baths, long-since deemed harmless by experts. The lack of damage was largely attributed to its location at the southern part of the island, although recent discoveries have revealed that there are more mysterious goings-on in the areas less-frequented by guests.
The Wild Hare Inn is owned and operated by Ruriko in the absence of it's original owners.
