Wheel O' Holiday Fun and Prizes

The Wheel O'Holiday Fun and Prizes is exactly as advertized. A giant vertical spin wheel mounted on a support, the main disk of the wheel is separated into pie-wedge shapes in a rainbow of colors. Along the edges of the wheel are long pegs which cause a 'clicking' sound from the pointer mounted at the side when the wheel is spun. Depending on where the wheel stops and what wedge the pointer is indicating, a ticket with the name of a prize will be printed out and given to the person who spun the wheel. Residents can typically claim their prize from members of the Town Council after a set date, the prizes a holiday gift from the council to the village.

Most often seen during the lead up to the new year celebrated by non-native peoples, the wheel is generally set up in the Sombreuil Community Center's main ballroom.
