Watch Hound

An Underhill specific breed, the watch hound is descendant of tame Artisan Wolves, although it is physically greatly different from these ancestors. A stocky, deep chested dog with a deep, carrying bay-style bark, the watch hound has a deep brown coat with paler extremities, muzzle, and tail. Its ears are floppy and rounded. As the name suggests, the watch hound is used as a working animal to guard farms and ranches Underhill and help protect them from wild predatory animals. They're also a common sight in nurseries and around crafter's work spaces to protect the valuables within.
