The Great Widow

Great Widow Albatross are known for their long, seemingly endless flights across the ocean, and the mournful cries of the birds which have lost their partners. Their dedication to their single mate is very well known, the dedication of one particular bird becoming legendary. So long did she mourn the loss of her mate that she drew the attention of Tsuki, the lonely goddess, who drew the albatross into the sky to have a companion within her sorrow, feeling the albatross to understand her own loss better than any other.
