This template should not be used on articles outside the main namespace (those not beginning with Talk:, User:, and so forth); all such articles are considered OOC anyway.

In fact, this template should rarely be used. Consider moving an article into the OOC: namespace rather than tagging it with this template. Alternately, you might want to make an in-character article on the same subject, and include the old text in OOC-boxes.
