Personality

Seryu is a very outgoing girl. She is a very open minded girl with a strong tendancy towards nymphomania. Most of the time, she's an easy person to get along with, since she normally has a good degree of control over her urges and is willing to accept anyone for what they are. At times however, she can be ruled by her lusts and behave accordingly, which not everyone appreciates and she knows that all too well. Her tendancy to leave Yuriba for long periods on end causes her to have a hard time making friends, since she rarely leaves a lasting impression.

Likes/Dislikes

Seryu likes to have sex and seems to grab hold of any oppertunity to do so with both hands. She does however have her tastes. While there is allways room for exeptions, she doesn't really get intimate with girls younger then around 18 years of age. She favours people with personality, or "spunk" as some call it, but she is also attracted to shy, silent types. Another thing she seems to dislike is "furries" and (half)demons/angels, though there have been exeptions, mostly with people who did not display much of their heritage's traits. She also likes to have a smoke and a drink, and the two usually go together even though she dislikes drinking without company most of the time. She likes to go swimming, or hang around in a bar or café.

As for her tastes in both clothing and music, these are best described as "really broad". She has different outfits to suit her moods, yet she doesn't change them very often unless there's a special occasion. She changes her outfits to match the season, sometimes a little hastily so. She carries around a small purse which allways holds a bikini, a pack or two of cigarettes along with a lighter, a pocket flask containing an alcoholic beverage (beverage varies) and a few odds and ends.

Speculation

The few things Seryu has disclosed about her life seem inconsistent. At times, she has claimed to have grown up in an orphanage, where around the age of 16 she discovered her sexual preference and given the conservative nature of said orphanage was abused and eventually persecuted for her way of life. At the same time, however, Seryu seems to posess reasonably extensive knowledge of things and events that never occured, and has some talents that are not seen in the normal world, creating an inconsistency. On the whole, her history is a sensitive subject for Seryu.

The facts

Seryu was born on a planet geologically identical to Earth, populated by species including but not limited to those found on Earth throughout the times. The same general periods of history occured as they did on Earth, however on this planet, magic existed far more prominently. Seryu was born in the planet's "Modern Era" comparable to the late 20th century on Earth, including scientific and technological developments. At the same time, however, there were still groups that practiced magic. These groups did so in secluded communities, protective of their knowledge and powers in an elitist fashion, distrusting of the general public and the other groups. Seryu's mother was a member of such a group and when she died in childbirth, Seryu was taken into the group and raised as an orphan.

Yuriba

Seryu has called Yuriba her home for several years, even though in the beginning she used an assumed name, and had a more introvert personality. After spending some months in Yuriba she left for allmost a year, returning as the woman she is today. At some point she made friends with Reiko, with whom she built the house where she currently resides, but not too long after Seryu left for some time, which lead her to eventually lose contact with Reiko.

Abilities

Though she she doesn't boast about it, or even mention it, Seryu is very talented in the arts of magic. In Yuriba however, she mostly confines herself to conjuring things up out of thin air for herself or for others. Most of the time, this means alcoholic beverages and appropriate things to drink them from.

Friends/Acquaintences

Due to her tendancy to leave for reasonably long periods for no real reason, Seryu has made very few friends, if any at all. People she has become acquainted with would be Coral and Nezuma.
