Appearance
Serissa is strong, robust, and distinctly female, despite her chosen clothing style. She has a well-defined body and a pleasant face, but she is by no means beautiful; rather, she is pretty in an earthy way, with her dark skin and hair, sinewy body, and voluptuous curves.%r%r%tHer face is broad and oval-shaped, with a broad forehead and shapely, narrow eyebrows. Her eyes are large and expressive, and twinkle with a hidden mirth. Although hazel, her large, round orbs are more green than brown, but they frequently change with her mood. Her nose is short and somewhat pointed, but it compliments her features surprisingly well. A large mouth is accompanied by a set of full lips, which are often chapped due to wind and weather. Her face is framed with a mass of lush, chestnut tresses that descend down just past her shoulders, and a portion of her brown locks are tied into a pair of pigtails. In addition, a bizarre, glowing disc of light hovers a few inches above her crown almost like... a halo?
Serissa's neck is long and swanlike, and it sweeps down to a set of well-formed, muscular shoulders. Her bust is copious, though not by Yuriban standards - each mound is just a bit larger than a grapefruit. Both of her arms are toned and strong. They are fairly dark, as well, and often sport an odd "farmer's tan" thanks to her time spent outdoors. Her hands are strong and dexterous, with long, pointed fingers. Her stomach is soft and smooth, if not particularly well-defined, and her waist is slim and healthy. Complimenting her bust is a set of round hips and a pert, heart-shaped behind.
Another striking feature of this girl are her long legs, which are solidly muscled and surprisingly strong. These assets are well hidden under layers of cloth, however, all the better to hide the many scars and bruises that mar her thighs and calves. This is not evidence of abuse but of the dangers of wandering through the woods on hands and knees looking for rare or valuable plants. Her hobby-turned-profession is also expressed on her calloused hands, which hold just as many small scars, cuts, and scrapes as her legs.
Today, Serissa is dressed for work. A powder blue blouse hangs loosely from her shoulders, covering her curves without entirely masking them. The long sleeves are rolled up to her elbows, exposing her tanned forearms to the open air. A pair of denim capri jeans clings to her legs, and a pair of open-toed leather sandals protects her delicate feet from the harsh earth. Completing her outfit is a thick leather belt complete with an oversized brass beltbuckle that resembles a pair of angel wings, though it does little to help hold up her tight pants.%r%r

Unknown. Yuribans familiar with Japanese pop culture may notice a striking resemblance between Serissa and former pop star 'Yuriko' who vanished in the mid-nineties.

Serissa is having difficulty coping with her new life on Yuriba, but a string of recent encounters have given her a smidgen of hope for her new life.

Rae: After wallowing in self-pity for several days after her arrival in Yuriba, Serissa bumped into Rae. The two have spent little time together, but Serrisa has enjoyed her conversations with the enigmatic painter.
Allya: Self-proclaimed 'number 1 of everything' in Yuriba and owner of the Baby Seal. Serissa's relationship with her remains tenuous, at best, but she's fascinated by the water sprite's origins and bizarre mannerisms.
