Physical Appearance
Under normal conditions, the physical appearance of one, Paige Rose, is neither ungainly nor exceptionally beautiful. Standing relatively tall at approximately 5'8", Paige maintains well kept ebony hair which fall without curl to just past her waist and frames a face of average skin tone made to appear only the slightest bit fairer by the darkness of her hair. Often she wears no make-up, leaving her hazel eyes untouched, and wears a denim jacket to cover up her rather broad shoulders. Her sense of fashion seems to range somewhere between renegade teenager and "I got dressed in the dark" often containing mismatched clothing items, singular shoes of different types, and clothing which has been doodled upon using a blue ink-pen.
Under circumstances of stress or necessity, however, Paige has been known to transform into her Fallen Angel form in which her physical and, to some extent, her mental appearance alters. The most noticeable change occurs with the appearance of two large, black wings which sprout from either shoulder blade and are normally held close to her back or, on some occurrences, wrapped about herself like a cloak. The coloration of the wings has yet to fully be understood as strange streaks of color or light may be seen moving about in them with no discernible explanation. Also altered in this form are the color of her eyes and skin, the former of which become the solid black of onyx, both iris and sclera and the latter of which become much more pale and seems to glow from within. In this form, Paige seems to view herself as more regal and holds her clothing standards similarly with wardrobes made entirely of solid blacks and consisting mostly of form-fitting evening gowns and heels.
History
The Distant Past
Born the daughter of an abusive father and a drug-addicted mother, Paige was forced to fend for herself for most of her early years. Learning to keep quite and trust no one, Paige found that the best way to survive was to simply not be seen. Eventually fed up with the path her life had taken, Paige left home part way through her junior year of high school and was never seen by her parents again. After spending a year and a half either on the streets or in homeless shelters, Paige fell asleep under a bridge in a city park and woke up to find herself lying on a beach made entirely out of black sand. Wandering this new and comfortingly strange land of Yuriba, Paige was informed that there are many ways to get here, one of which simply being the need to not be somewhere else. With this in mind, she set her claim on the land where she had appeared with the purpose of building a home for those with no place left to turn.
Awaken the Dreamer
Shortly after completing the initial construction on her new home, Paige found herself visited in her sleep by a strange man with dark, wild eyes and wings like the night sky. He informed her in the manner that a parent informs a child that she is not truly human but, rather, is the last of a dying race known as the Fallen Angels, those whose history is lost to time itself. With her eyes now open to her true past, Paige found herself not only able to sprout wings, but also capable of small magical feats, most of which she has no true control over. Despite her lack of experience, however, Paige determined to use her new found powers to give others the kind of help that she herself never had.
The Lost Child
After living alone for several weeks, Paige awoke one morning to find a small girl-child collapsed upon the beach where she lived. Upon recovery of the child, who claimed to be known as Kit-chan, Paige set up a room for the girl just down the hall from her own. Since then, Paige has become increasingly fond of the small girl and sees her as a cross between a younger sibling and best friend.
Enter the Cavalry
After the appearance of Kit-chan in her home, life was relativly uniform for Paige until shortly after her first year on the island. At this point, a massive influx of newcomers made itself present on the coast and, as she had promised herself, Paige invited all of them into her home. While some refused and others simply vanished, several accepted the offer and, eventually, aided Paige in the construction nessecary to fit all the newcomers into the now rather large home. In order of there arival, the other members of the household are:

Current Life
Currently, Paige and her housemates enjoy spending their time searching out the hidden Jusenkyou pools found on Yuriba island. Rumor has it that they have collected a large well of knowledge which they may be willing to share should they be asked nicely. They also tend to be rather fond of milling about at Leona's Bar and Girl because both the atmosphere and the people are nice.
