OOC:Image Policy

Current revision

As there are enough problems with wording legal language into a solid document, I will dispense with the legalese until a future date that the image policy can be solidified.

Images that are acceptable for posting to the Yuriban Encyclopedia include:

• Original art that:
  • You have drawn yourself.
  • You have commissioned someone to draw for you.
• Art that is properly credited to the artist.
• Art that has been released to the public domain.

Images that are *NOT* acceptable for use on the Yuriban Encyclopedia include:

• Character art of characters from other media, such as anime, manga, or video games.
• Recolors of said art. This includes 'bases' from http://couture.haneoto.net/templates/ as they themselves are manipulations of copyrighted images.
• Art that is explicitly stated to not be redistributed.
• Unsourced art
• Pornography

These criterion are subject to updating at any time, without notice.
