Megami Temple

Megami Temple is a nondenominational temple for general meditation and reflection located in the forests of Engetsu-san, formerly known as Belldannim's Temple until it fell into general disrepair and saw much lack of use since the departure of its owner from Yuriba's shores. Mirabelle O'Shea took it upon herself to bring new life into the area, and organized a cleanup and restoration of the temple. With the help of breisleach, Yuriko, and Abryn, the repair and cleansing both physical and spiritual of the area were done in relatively short order, and the temple was officially redubbed the Megami Temple as a result of breisleach's suggestion.

Megami Temple has a small shrine for indoor meditation, as well as a rock garden for those more inclined to meditate closer to nature. As well, it is home to one of the oldest living maple trees on the island. While the temple has no official staff of priestesses, the more devout among Yuriba's citizens see to its care as if it were their own sacred space.

The temple originally had been built over ancient, decayed ruins from the Lilian civilization. Some of its stones are still within the temple grounds, their purpose long since forgotten.
