Faerie Forest

The Faerie Forest is a subsection of the main forested area of the Island, which is hidden in a small valley on the slopes of Engetsu-san. It is the home for the portion of the Island's faerie population that chooses not reside in Underhill as well as the residence of Merin, the local liaison between the faerie and village populations.

The forest is inaccessable by normal means, and only a few of the Island's residents have been shown to be capable of reaching it.

It is highly suspected, due to the unusual nature and structure of the forest, that it at least partially intersects with the place known as Underhill and constitutes one of the 'stable' portions of that place.
