Casual relationship

A casual relationship generally is a relationship between two or more people where there is no expectation of long term commitment; this generally does not mean a one night stand, but rather, cases where the individuals in question are not deeply connected but maintain ongoing contact and some level of interpersonal understanding or closeness. The colloquial fuck buddies generally applies to casual relationships, since the primary relation is one of friendship or kinhood that occasionally crosses into romantic or sexual boundaries, but not at a high level of emotional investment in the outcome of them.
