Angelica Ashdown is a human female who hails from early 1990's London, England who arrived to Yuriba in February 2011. It's unclear to Angelica as to why she came to Yuriba - in fact, a lot of information is unclear to her given the fact that she cannot recall many events of her life up until her arrival.

Psychological
General
Angelica is rather a hard case to describe, almost an enigma. Overall she seems quite reserved, almost anti-social; but once she actually knows somebody she can be quite the social butterfly. Rather than quick and unthoughtful decisions, she strives for well thought out plans and plans in general versus running into anything blind.
Physical Description
In the battle of pants versus dresses, neither article won. Angelica almost always prefers shorts which are short enough to be considered daisy-dukes; jokingly she refers to pants wearing people as just that, and is rather irked by dresses, unable to grasp how people can wear them and be comfortable. Her tops almost always consist of a baby-doll styled t-shirt, usually concealed under a hooded jacket. Almost never is she seen not wearing a pair of well worn military-style boots. Even when it's freezing cold outside she can still be seen wearing clothes like the aforementioned, only covered with a leather jacket which extends to her calves – sure, it may be cold, but it's fashion, not comfort.
Background
Childhood
Angelica was the earliest of twin daughters born to Mia and Richard Ashdown in the early-morning hours on March 29, 1973. With her father being a rather high-ranking officer in the Royal Marines the Ashdown family was able to afford to live in an affluent area of the Barnet district of London, England.
Throughout childhood and her teenage years Angelica proved to be the socialite of the duo, occasionally prone to making brash decisions and finding herself unable but to speak her mind at times. Angelina, her sister, proved to be quite the opposite and more pragmatic. Regardless of decisions, they had a very uneventful tenure in primary school with rather high marks. Not your typical and almost expected tale of a daughter rebelling against her affluent family – this quite possibly can be credited to the twins constantly challenging each other at various hobbies, the fact that their parents never put up with any misbehavior also contributed to this.
Teenage Years
Her time in secondary school helped her discover a love for running; eventually it would be a common sight in the morning hours to see Angelica running around her neighborhood. To challenge herself further in practice she began to jump hurdles, which shortly evolved to small walls and off-track courses; this love eventually blended with school spirit and found her shortly later running within the field and track teams of the establishment. To further occupy time both Angelica and her sister enrolled in a music class, with Angelica taking up the piano and Angelina taking up the violin.
After graduating secondary school the sisters both enrolled at Barnet College. During the interim of her first and second years she developed a bit of a crush for a fellow classmate – eventually seeing the aspiring tattoo artist moreso than just simple passing. Despite protest from her sister, Angelica dated the artist for just shy of one year, while the chemistry wasn't exactly there she did like obtaining free tattoos and sketching ideas for new ones. The relationship eventually broke up, the details of why and how weren't exactly spoken much, if at all. Angelica would shortly thereafter resume her early-morning runs about her neighborhood in an effort to relieve stress; her brash decision making also seemed to cease, outbursts exchanged for calmness and thought out decisions.
On the morning of November 5, 1993 one of Angelica's runs lead her through an abandoned tube station - nothing too new for the woman, if anything this run was a common sight mixed with urban exploration. It was when she took a running jump from a catwalk towards an abandoned train that she slipped, body falling quickly to the ground, something which she didn't hit for some odd reason. This brings us to...
Yuriba
Angelica arrived on the shores of Maboroshi in the early morning hours of February 2011; like many others, she arrived confused and with only the clothes on her back. What came complimentary and possibly not with the others' was a splitting headache and the loss of any sort of memory prior to arrival. The only reason she's sure of her actual identity is thanks to her driver's license in her pocket. Her initial exploration of the island met with several new friends and the learning of the year - one can only imagine the reaction she gave when she learned that she was in all reality 30-something.
In late 2011 she came across Shay Black & Miyako Tanaka during one of her journeys on the island, the duo not only befriended the woman, but offered her employment at Casey's Garden. It was here that Ashdown found comfort in gardening, tending to the plants and managing the general upkeep of the aged garden.
One morning in February 2012 she came across Vicky playing her guitar at the Crimson Rose and Sword, the pair grew to be close friends whom shared a common interest in gardening. It was during their first encounter that Angelica sparked an interest in the piano, a later encounter with the bard and a piano found that she knew how to play the instrument all along, she's also quite a lovely singer, too. This friendship with Vicky eventually blossomed into a relationship between the duo.

- While it's hard for her to decide on a favorite flower, she seems to lean towards the honeysuckle - something which she'll use to add a touch of flavor to her favorite cup of tea.
