Alpha Hen

The Yuriban Game Hen is well known for its competitive, dominant behavior, constantly competing for dominance within the flock. Legend has it that one day, a hen who was the lowest of the flock, timid and shy in counter to her sisters personalities, had finally been ‘henpecked’ into joining the competition. The particular method of determining who was on top this day was to see who could get highest into the tree; and with a great flutter of wings and feathers, this lowly of hens flew so high she turned into the stars, forever becoming the Alpha hen that all others compete to try to become.
