Aleks leFleur, or Aleks as she is usually called, arrived on the island of Yuriba in december of 2002. She originally planned to only stay a while to do some reasearch for a novel but soon enough got attached to the place and people. So much so to decide to settle down on the island. Ever since then she has been writing novels from home and leaving the island for weeks or months at a time to go researching.
